Research Interests

We work on developing solution-based scalable methods for synthesis of nanomaterials and fabrication of functional devices. We use advanced tools, characterization techniques and electrochemical methods to develop an understanding of the material’s structure and properties. The present focus of the group is on developing innovative design and materials for printable chemiresistive and electrochemical sensors for diagnostics & environmental monitoring applications. We also work on energy efficient electrochromic and energy storage devices. The research in our group is highly inter-disciplinary and at the interface of materials chemistry, electrochemistry, and nanotechnology.
